It's officially been a year since I took on the role of Creative Lead in Asticom Group's Marketing department. This journey has been a rollercoaster of challenging tasks, projects, and breakthroughs, prompting me to reflect on the factors that have significantly and positively altered my brain chemistry, contributing to a more fulfilling work experience.

Following the pandemic, the corporate landscape underwent significant changes, and Asticom embraced the hybrid set-up, marking a turning point in my professional life. Experiencing this flexibility for the first time at Asticom has indeed been life-changing. It offers respite from the hassles of commuting, traffic, and unnecessary spending on meals. Working from the comfort of my home in Cavite has simplified my routine, allowing for longer and stress-free sleep. No more pre-dawn wake-ups and no worries about choosing the perfect outfit – it's a welcomed relief.

1:1 Coaching: Unveiling a New Dimension in Support

1:1 coaching was an entirely new concept for me, and I must admit, it's been a pleasant surprise. These sessions with my boss, delving into work-related matters, personal support, and even discussing more private concerns, have created a dynamic and supportive work environment. Engaging in 1:1 sessions with my direct reports has also strengthened personal connections, fostering a team spirit. Feeling heard is a transformative experience, and these sessions have provided a platform for voicing suggestions and addressing team needs.
